Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of ReadChart at https://readchart.app, including the website, dashboard, MetaTrader 5 (MT5) bridge, MCP connector, and related emails (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, checking the acceptance box, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated as ReadChart. Until a registered legal entity is named here, the operator is the person or business that provides the Service at https://readchart.app.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You are responsible for complying with the laws and broker or prop-firm rules that apply to your trading.

ReadChart is educational software. It helps you view live MT5 context (charts, account state, journal) in your own workflow and queue orders to your terminal after you explicitly confirm them.

ReadChart is not a broker, dealer, exchange, money transmitter, or investment adviser. We are not authorized or registered with the NFA, CFTC, SEC, FCA, ASIC, or any other financial regulator. We do not hold client funds or execute trades as your counterparty.

Chart analysis, journal context, MCP tool output, and any commentary in the Service are educational only. They are not personalized investment, trading, or financial advice, and they are not an offer to buy or sell any instrument.

Leveraged markets (including forex and CFDs) involve a substantial risk of loss. You can lose more than you expect. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. You alone decide whether to trade.

Nothing is sent to MT5 as a live order until you confirm it. Confirmation is a product rule, not a guarantee that a trade is suitable, correctly sized, or will fill at a given price.

Fills, slippage, rejects, and connection drops are between you, your broker, and your terminal. ReadChart does not guarantee execution.

If you connect an MCP client (for example ChatGPT, Claude, or another agent), that vendor processes the chart, account, and journal context you allow it to read, under that vendor’s own terms and privacy policy.

ReadChart does not control those models, does not guarantee their output, and is not responsible for trades you take because an agent suggested them. You must still confirm every order yourself.

Keep your login credentials and bridge token confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account until you tell us it was compromised.

Do not share accounts. The EA runs on your MT5 terminal; you can revoke access by removing the EA or rotating the token.

Paid access is a subscription billed by Stripe. The current public price is USD $15 per month after a 14-day trial where a trial is offered. We may change prices with notice on the pricing page for future periods.

You can cancel anytime from billing. Access continues until the end of the paid (or trial) period unless Stripe or the card issuer ends it sooner. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires a refund.

You may not: misuse the Service to manipulate markets; attempt to bypass confirmation or rate limits; probe, scrape, or disrupt our systems; upload malware; impersonate others; or use the Service if it would violate sanctions or your broker’s rules.

We may suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe these Terms were broken, if billing fails, or if we have to do so for security or legal reasons.

ReadChart, the site, and the EA remain our property (or our licensors’). You keep ownership of your journal notes and the trading data that originates from your MT5 account. You grant us a limited licence to host that data only to operate the Service for you.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted uptime, error-free analysis, or that the bridge, MCP tools, or emails will always be available.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReadChart and its operators are not liable for trading losses, missed fills, broker or prop-firm outcomes, third-party AI errors, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Our total liability for claims arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim, or USD $15, whichever is greater. Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, they apply only as far as the law allows.

You will defend and indemnify ReadChart against claims arising from your trading, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent we caused the claim by our own willful misconduct.

We may update these Terms. The version date at the top of this page (2026-09-20) is the current version. Material changes will be posted here. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s principal place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules, until a specific jurisdiction is named after legal review. Courts in that place have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief where the harm occurs.
